Victorian officials’ ‘double standards’ ‘on display’ as Andrews faces second IBAC investigation

Sky News presenter Peta Credlin says what clearly appears to be on display is a “double standard” by Victorian officials after it emerged that the state’s premier Daniel Andrews faced a second anti-corruption hearing in private.

The Australian revealed on Friday that Andrews was privately questioned by the Independent Broad-Based Anti-Corruption Commission about his association with an allegedly corrupt property developer, following several public hearings by the Prime Minister’s Labor colleagues in separate investigations.

“Public humiliation for minor players, but white-collar treatment and secret questioning for the Premier,” said Ms Credlin.

“As I keep saying, there is something rotten in the state of Victoria.”
