Police are looking for a driver who fled the scene of a collision between several cars on the Gardiner Freeway.
In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Toronto police said they received a call at 8:47 p.m. reporting a collision on the Gardiner Freeway at Islington Avenue.

Police say a GO Transit bus was involved in the collision and a vehicle landed sideways.
Anne Marie Aikins, spokesperson for Metrolinx, said the GO bus was “in service with passengers on board”.
Aikins said the bus driver and passengers were being looked after by emergency medical service personnel.

“The extent of the injuries is unknown at this point, but more information will be available soon,” she wrote in a tweet.
Police said a driver was trapped inside his vehicle.
“Another driver appears to have fled the scene on foot,” officers said.
Police say officers are looking for the driver, who they say “could be injured.”
Just before 10 p.m. ET, paramedics in Toronto told Global News they were on the scene and assessing patients, but had not transported anyone to hospital.
Police said some lanes were closed in the area and warned traffic could be slow.
