Three men fired fireworks into Toronto crowd on Victory Day: police

Toronto police are searching for three men they said fired fireworks into a crowd in Leslieville on Victory Day.

Police said it happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Queen Street East and Leslie Street.

Three men in a dark-colored BMW four-door with Ontario license plate CSNT154 headed to the area, police said. They then got out of their vehicle and allegedly fired fireworks at pedestrians and motorists.

Police said multiple people and vehicles were hit.

No descriptions of the three men have been released.
