Stolen HiLux drives dangerously after detaining a theft in the yard

A Queensland Police spokesperson said the vehicle was stolen from Garbutt at 8 p.m. It was allegedly used to force its way out of the ABC Towing waiting yard. The double cab was described as having no side on the deck and a yellow 20L drum attached to the rear. The HiLux was spotted several times around Townsville on Sunday morning. Police have yet to stop the vehicle, which was last seen in Idalia at 8 a.m. Anyone who spots the HiLux is advised not to approach the vehicle and to contact the police.
