‘Scariest experience of my life’: Woman trapped in hobby lobby during Gaylord tornado

A woman described being in shock inside a craft store in Gaylord, Michigan, when a deadly tornado struck on Friday afternoon, May 20, causing extensive damage to the building along with many others. In a Facebook post, Brittany Gunderson described her ordeal: “I just saw a tornado go through Hobby Lobby while I was frozen on the island. the screams See the roof fall. Wind, rain and darkness hit the back of the store and I just stood there watching because I had no idea how to protect myself.” At least two people were killed and 44 injured by the tornado, authorities said.
