Queen Victoria Market is hosting a huge two-day donut festival in June and we’re here for it

This will put you on the highest blood sugar level of your life. Okay, let’s be honest here. That New Year’s resolution to get in shape and eliminate desserts from your diet, that’s over. So if you’re going to treat yourself, you can do it right too, and what better way to do it than with a donut fest.

Yes. A festival dedicated to those round, doughy, sugary, glazed little works of art.

Keep up to date with what’s happening in and around Melbourne here.

Taking to the food capital this June after the huge success of last year’s event, the Queen Vic Market will host an epic Free Donut Festival, where Melbourne’s best donut makers will serve up their sugary creations for two days of delights. That’s right, the beloved event has now expanded to two delicious days!

Expect to find the OG Hot Jelly Donuts, Chocolate Filled Donuts, Vegan and Gluten Free Donuts, Churro Bowls, 50’s Style Milkshakes and much more.

We’re seriously going to be spoiled for choice with the likes of Bistro Morgan Bakehouse, Short Stop Melbourne, American Donut Kitchen, Churro Kitchen, St. Gerry’s, OMG Decadent Donuts, Pasta Face and Cafe Verona.

Pair your treats with the beverage offering that will feature the market’s usual lineup of coffee and hot chocolate, along with nostalgic milkshakes and spiced apple cider. There will even be live music and traveling artists to really give you the full festival experience.

It’s all happening at Queen Victoria Market on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 from 9 am to 4 pm Visit the website here.
