New York man shot dead in Manhattan parking dispute

Police are looking for a suspect who shot a 27-year-old man during a parking dispute in Manhattan at the start of the New Year.

The shooting took place on West 38th Street near 10th Avenue around 5:15 a.m. after the victim ran toward the suspect’s white 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee which was stopped at a red light, cops said.

Video of the incident provided by the NYPD shows the victim approaching the driver’s side window and arguing with the man before fleeing.

Police said the driver shot the man in his left arm during the argument.

The driver fled after the shooting and then parked his car on Patchen Avenue near Greene Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.

The victim reported to Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s in stable condition.
