Mike Tyson talks about confrontation with JetBlue

Mike Tyson finally opens up about his viral confrontation with JetBlue and says it was provoked.

In his day, Mike Tyson was a savage boxer and the most ruthless and vicious athlete in existence. To this day, there has been nothing like Tyson in any sport.

Today, if you follow Mike, he’s a laid back guy who uses his life experiences to connect with athletes and give advice so they don’t make the mistakes he did. A month ago, we caught a glimpse of the old Mike when he was harassed by a drunk passenger on a JetBlue flight. In the video, you can see that Mike is trying to take care of his business, but the passenger kept nagging Mike to hand him a two-piece suit and a soda. The San Mateo County District Attorney has since decided not to charge Mike, but now Mike is finally opening up about the situation on his podcast. Hot boxing with Mike Tyson.

According to TMZ, Mike said his wife had told him not to fly commercial to avoid exactly that situation.

“You shouldn’t even be taking public planes,” he said. ‘My wife gets mad because she took public planes.’

‘What am I going to do on a fucking plane with my friends and [a bodyguard] Is he supposed to watch me? he asked co-host DJ Whoo Kid, Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. ‘A bodyguard and damn yes man. What am I going to do on a plane? he added.

The only thing worse than getting into a physical altercation after being upset the entire flight is coming home and the wife tells you she was right, but it happens. Hopefully for Mike, he avoids public transportation as people are more unpredictable than ever these days.
