Brimbank caregivers and people with disabilities are encouraged to attend the Disability Service Providers Exhibition and Participant Connection.

Led by Developing Australian Communities, the exhibit is expected to include a wealth of information and opportunities to connect, ask questions and will also offer fun activities for the whole family.

Activities including balloon performers, face painting, obstacle courses, meet and greet with movie characters as well as a main performance scene.

Figures show that despite more than 4.3 million Australians living with a disability, more than a quarter (28%) of Australians are unaware of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and what it does.

With nearly 130,000 Victorian participants receiving assistance from NDIS – and over 55,000 people with disabilities entering the program for the first time – it can be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack to find the right supplier with which to use. to log in.

The free exhibition will take place January 18-19 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center.
