A man has died after a climbing tragedy in a national park southeast of Perth.
Emergency teams, including St. John Ambulance and DFES personnel, were called to the scene just before 5 p.m. but the man had already died of his injuries.
Due to safety concerns related to the location and the dangerous weather conditions, teams have had to postpone the recovery of the man’s body until today.
The man’s family were notified of his death and police remained at the scene overnight to guard the scene and the man’s body.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
