Man critically ill after crash in Co Armagh

A man is seriously ill in hospital following a road accident in Co Armagh.

One car, a white Seat Ibiza, was involved in the incident on Moy Road, Armagh, in the early hours of Sunday.

Two men who were in the car were taken to hospital, where one was described as seriously ill.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Police Service said the crash occurred between the junctions with Lisbofin Road and Moore Island Road, and was reported to police around 2:25 a.m.

“Officers attended the incident with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

“Two men who were traveling in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment for injuries. One of the men is described as being in critical condition.

Police called anyone who witnessed the crash or had a dash cam to contact 101 and quote reference number 178 from January 9, 2022. – PA
