Harry Dunn’s alleged killer, Anne Sacoolas, will no longer face a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, a Dunn family spokesman said.
Ms Sacoolas, who left the UK 19 days after the accident claiming diplomatic immunity, was due to appear in court on January 18, charged with death by dangerous driving on August 27, 2019.
Radd Seiger, spokesperson for Harry Dunn’s family, said: “We have full confidence in the Crown Prosecution Service and will be waiting to hear from them with further developments, hopefully in the near future.
“Harry’s family were obviously looking forward to Tuesday’s hearing, so they are hopeful that an agreement can be reached as soon as possible.
“It is vitally important to their mental health that justice and closure be served quickly.”
