Gwyneth Paltrow commemorates daughter Apple’s 18th birthday

“18. I was a bit speechless this morning.”

If you were around during the 2000s, you probably remember the birth of Apple Martin, aka Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter, in 2004.

Remember how obsessed people were with the name “Apple”? Do.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but 2004 was 18 years ago! AHHH! This means that, as all the *passage of time* implies, Apple is now a real adult.

Apple has largely stayed out of the public eye (her IG is even private), but mom Gwen marked the occasion with a sentimental Instagram post. “I’m a bit speechless this morning,” she began.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you are. You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put into words. You are profoundly extraordinary in every way.”

“Happy birthday, my dear girl. I hope you know how special you are and how much light you have brought to everyone who is lucky enough to know you. Especially me,” he continued.

Gwyneth concluded, “I say it all the time and I’ll never stop…in Aunt Drew’s words, I was born the day you were born. I love you.”

Anyway, I’m going to take a nap or something…
