Donald Trump castigates GOP elected officials who refuse to admit having been vaccinated against COVID-19

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday criticized Republicans who refuse to publicly admit they are vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Mr Trump, a leading figure in the GOP, told One America News it was “unwise” for elected officials to hesitate when asked about their immunization status.

” I took it. I got the callback, ”Mr. Trump said. “Many politicians – I watched a few politicians being interviewed and one of the questions was, ‘Did you get the recall? “- because they had the vaccine – and they answer like – in other words, the answer is” yes “but they don’t want to say it. Because they have no guts.

Mr. Trump added that these elected officials were doing their constituents a little service given the success of the vaccination to thwart the pandemic.

“You have to say it whether you have it or not,” Mr. Trump said. “But the point is, I think the vaccines have saved tens of millions of people around the world… If they get it, most of them won’t go to hospitals and die.”

Mr. Trump has become a staunch champion of the COVID-19 vaccine, which was developed by his administration as part of an $ 18 billion program called “Operation Warp Speed.”
