Courtney Love gives her opinion on the trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, says that the actor saved her life

Courtney Love is showing his support for the actor johnny depp in the midst of his libel trial against amber heard.

In a series of videos shared via a friend’s social media account over the weekend, the 57-year-old Hole singer recalled a time when pirates of the Caribbean The star saved his life after he overdosed outside his nightclub, The Viper Room, in 1995.

“I really don’t want to pass judgment publicly. I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside The Viper Room,” Love said.

At the time of the incident, Love was grieving the tragic loss of her husband Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994 at the age of 27, while raising their only daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.

Love added that Depp, 58, approached his daughter on several occasions after the incident, revealing that he had written a “four-page letter” on her 13th birthday. According to Love, Frances Bean, now 29, , he has never shown the letter to his mother.

“She didn’t really know me. Then she sent limousines to her school when all the social workers were driving around, again, without being asked, for her and all her friends to go to both of them. pirates [of the Carribbean]. She did it a bunch of times,” Love continued. “He gave her her own seat with his name on it. i have never seen those pirates movies, but she loved them. You know, she told me when she was 13, ‘Mom, she saved my life.’ And she said it again.”

In the second part of the video, Love made it clear that she was on Depp’s side in the libel trial, but noted that she still has “empathy” for Heard.

“I’ve been the most hated woman in America. I’ve been the most hated woman in the world, before TikTok, and there’s really a lot of empathy for what Amber must feel. F–k man. Can you imagine how she feels? Jesus,” he said.

“But if you use a movement for your own personal gain, and you inhabit intersectional queer feminist spaces, and you abuse that moment, then I hope justice is done whatever it is. And I think we should have less schadenfreude and more empathy for everyone.” Having said that, Laura Wasser would never call TMZ.

Love married Cobain in February 1992 and welcomed Frances Bean in August of that year.

Depp is currently facing his ex-wife Heard, 36, in a lengthy legal battle. The couple are suing each other for defamation, claiming they were abused before and during their roughly two-year marriage. Depp, who was married to aquaman star from 2015 to 2017, has vehemently denied Heard’s claims.

The trial resumes on Monday, May 23, in a Virginia court, with closing arguments expected on Friday, May 27.
