Bowling, music and more in Philly’s all-new entertainment destination

Bordering the Fishtown and Northern Liberties neighborhoods of Philly, nestled between The Fillmore and Punch Line Philly, is the city’s newest addition to the live music and entertainment destination, Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia.

The multi-concept venue is the fourth location in the Brooklyn Bowl franchise and is home to more than just music. The Bowl offers two levels of entertainment and 24 state-of-the-art bowling alleys equipped with top-notch audio / video equipment. Guests enjoy a selection of local craft beers paired with a menu of creative handcrafted cocktails including exclusive concoctions such as The 7-10 Split and The Gutter Ball. Inspired by the legendary chefs of the Blue Ribbon restaurant group, The Bowl offers a full dining experience and an extensive menu that, yes, includes Blue Ribbon’s world-famous fried chicken.

In addition to a delicious and robust menu, a wide selection of spirits and cocktails, and top notch bowling experience; at its heart, Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia is a premier concert venue. The Bowl is quickly becoming one of Philly’s must-see destinations for great live music and has already hosted performances by The Bouncing Souls, Breaking Benjamin, White Denim, Talib Kweli, Soulive, Rakim, Face To Face and many more. Although some venues close when the shows are over, you can usually expect a late-night dance party with a DJ on most Friday and Saturday nights. With parties like Emo Night, Gimme Gimme Disco (inspired by ABBA’s music), Taylor Swift Night and The Robyn Party, The Bowl will rock the music and the slippers shaking until the early hours of the morning.

While The Bowl is far from an adult playground, it does offer regular family programming like Sundays of the family bowl, and monthly concerts by The Rock & Roll Playhouse, which highlights the work of big names in music like the Beatles, David Bowie, Phish and Prince. With bowling, music, food, and booze, it’s a great Sunday afternoon destination for parents and kids.
