The Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable was silently launched on Friday, January 7 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022. The new 2-in-1 laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 8 GB. of RAM and 128 GB of storage on board. It sports a 10.5-inch WUXGA LCD display with a peak brightness of 320 nits and a glossy display. The Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable features a 13-megapixel main camera on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Asus 2-in-1 laptop contains a 38 Wh battery.
Asus has yet to announce pricing or availability for the Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable. It will be available in a single Star Black color option.
Detachable Asus ExpertBook B3 specifications
The all-new Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable runs Windows 11. It sports a 10.5-inch (1920 x 1200 pixel) WUXGA LCD display with a peak brightness of 320 nits, 16:10 aspect ratio and coverage. 121% sRGB color gamut. Under the hood, the Asus 2-in-1 laptop packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC paired with the Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of eMMC storage.
For optics, the Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable includes a 13-megapixel main rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5 with 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 also features AI noise cancellation technology as well as 3D noise reduction technology for the selfie camera. It also has a dedicated slot for a stylus in the upper right corner. However, the stylus is an optional accessory with a holder cover.
The Asus 2-in-1 laptop has a MIL-STD 810H build. The Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable packs a 38Wh Li-ion battery that charges using a 45W USB Type-C charger. It measures 260.3 x 172.1 x 8.9mm and weighs 630 grams.
