Astroworld Fest: Houston Police Investigation Now Supported by FBI Website to Upload Videos and Photos of 2021 Disaster

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The investigation into the Astroworld festival disaster, which killed 10 concert-goers, all under the age of 30, is now receiving federal support from the FBI.

On Friday, more than two months after the deadly wave of concerts at NRG Park, the Houston Police Department announced the creation of an FBI website for the public, urging those with photos or videos taken at the venue concert on November 5, 2021, to upload them to the portal.

Houston police detectives have already reviewed countless hours of video evidence as part of our ongoing investigation into the Astroworld event.

To ensure we captured all possible evidence for a full investigation, we partnered with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for additional technical assistance. The FBI has created a website where the public can upload photos or videos taken at the concert venue. Specifically, we are looking for photos or videos of the main area of ​​the site from 8pm to 11pm. The website to upload your photos or videos is

Despite nearly 300 civil lawsuits being filed against the organizers, Travis Scott, the featured artist and organizer, has not verbally expressed responsibility for the incident.

The victims, the youngest being 9 years old, all died asphyxiation by compression, ruled the medical examiner. Only one, Denmark’s Baig, had asphyxiation as the cause of death, but with a contributing cause of the combined toxic effects of cocaine, methamphetamine and ethanol.
